Telfonica Buys Jajah

Spanish telecom operator Telefonica has taken over Jajah, the VOIP service provider based on Israel, Silicon Valley, California. The acquiring will be on the exchange of EUR 145 million cash transfer. Jajah introduced VoIP services for mobile phones using Internet in 2006.

25 million subscribers are using Jajah from more than 122 countries and Jajah is providing calling access to more than 200 destinations globally. Telefonica users will experience new communication features by using Jajah which will operate under Telefonica Europe from now on.
