Trouble shooting:
Remote Trouble shooting of BTS, BSC, OMC-R, GPRS, NODE-B, RNC & WMS by Phone/Remote Login. Reproduction of the problems in the Lab.

Software Delivery:
Migrations/ Application of Software patches/Generic Upgrades of BTS, BSC, MFS, OMC-R, NODE-B, RNC & WMS On site / Remote Support. This involves co-ordination with customer for execution and planning.

Skills Required:

Educational: B.E./B-TECH/M-TECH in Telecommunications.
Technology Exposure: GSM / UMTS
Protocol Knowledge: SS7,TCP/IP
Standards Knowledge: ITU-T
Operating System: Unix ( Sun),Windows
Language Known: C,C++ ( Optional )
Candidate who has Remote Technical Support skills will have an added advantage.
Experience on GSM (BSS,OMC-R & GPRS ) equipment is must and ( Experience on Alcatel GSM is preferred )
Experience on NODE-B, RNC and WMS will have an added advantage. ( Experience on Nortel UMTS is preferred )

Working knowledge on the GSM MSC side will have an added advantage.

Good communication skills (written as well as oral)
